kenney, I believe you about not knowing what will happen! I couldn't remember when the first one was last year, so didn't know if this time it was earlier than usual.

It's nice to see everything quiet out there in the Atlantic. How long will it last is anyone's guess.
Water temperature is hot. About 86 degrees F. in the Gulf of Mexico and present water temperature of my COLD water from my tap after running is 86 degrees F.
You really don't even have to use hot water taking a shower if you can hack 86 degrees F.

In the Fall we get those high winds out of the Cajon Pass but just for 2 maybe 3 days in a 4 week time frame. Hum I wonder if thats why my wornout roof flew away two years ago.

Yesterday was the official end of hurricane season for 2006, now its just plain ole' northeasters that will get us; particulary here in the NE USA & Maritimes.
